Craig K. Allen: Missing the Point on Hypocrisy.
Brent Bozell III (Atlanta Journal and Constitution, 10/5/06) misses the point about hypocrisy. He finds Mark Foley's actions nauseating, which is an easy thing to do. Foley is a Class A hypocrite as well.

Liz Schoen -- Role of Partisan Politics in School Board elections?
After reading today’s (9/29/06) MDJ article regarding the Post 6 school board election, I am amazed. I thought we discourage bullying in our community. It’s a scary thought that any educated person would base their decision for school board membership on partisan politics.

Hugo Chavez is actually a popularly elected president of his country. The U.S. and the International oil companies we support, were incensed when he wouldn't support turning Venezuela's oil rights and revenues over to them.

Rick Jaworski -- A Solution to CO2 Emissions and Oil Addiction
The vast majority of C02 emissions in the US come from two sources, power plants that burn coal and automobiles that burn petroleum. I believe there is a way to radically reduce the C02 emissions from both sources and radically reduce our dependence on foreign oil with one relatively simple energy policy. The heart of the solution is a proven technology known as Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV).

Bruce Redd -- Needed Education Reform
Georgia students' test scores are symbolic of Gov. Sonny Perdue's education plan. Georgia is again dead last in SAT scores, and the state is falling behind in other measures of academic achievement as well.
