Crystal Jackson Budd is Blueprints Program Manager at the Georgia Conservancy, a statewide environmental organization that works to make sure that Georgians have healthy air, clean water, unspoiled wild places and community green space now and in the future.  Through the Conservancy’s nationally-recognized Blueprints for Successful Communities program, she teaches Georgians to achieve successful communities by creating sound conservation and growth strategies and building consensus for action at the local, county, regional and state levels.  Ms. Jackson Budd is also a leader of the recently formed Georgia Chapter of the International Association for Public Participation, which seeks to promote and improve the practice of public involvement around the world.

Crystal is a North Carolina native who holds a master’s degree in city and regional planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  Prior to joining the Conservancy, she taught people of all ages about the wonders of the natural world in her role as an environmental educator.
