Sander Bellman: AJC's 6th District Endorsement - Responsible Journalism?

Let's see if I get this straight. For the past few years, all we've seen from this do-nothing Congress is blind support of the Administration's Katrina-like cronyism, corruption, and incompetence. And now the AJC telling us to "Go with (Congressional) incumbents" (Nov. 1 issue.)

Its endorsement, for example, of Tom Price in the 6th District says it supports him because "although he toed the Bush administration line on nearly every major issue," he reflects his conservative district. So the AJC bases its endorsements on past political leanings of a District rather than on the qualifications of the candidate?

What part of responsible journalism does the AJC not understand?
