First, Tom Price fails to show up at two debates against Steve Sinton, sponsored by LWVGA (May 31st and October 10th).  Then, last night, Matt Dollar and Judson Hill fail to show up at a forum sponsored by the PTSA's of Walton and Wheeler High Schools.

What an arrogant bunch of Republican incumbents we have. The forum last night was planned back early in the Summer, according to the forum moderator. Didn't Dollar and Hill think they owed the voters in E. Cobb even an explanation of their sorry performance?

These no-shows are just a follow-on to John Crooks' failure to show at a debate, October 10th, with Dr. Beth Farokhi sponsored by two of his major Post 6 constituent groups, again, the PTSA's of Walton/Wheeler.  But perhaps this too is just another sign of the imperial arrogance of the Republican Party in Georgia.

Kudos to all of our E. Cobb candidates, Zack Smith, Darryl Wilson, and RuthE Levy, for an outstanding performance last night.  I even heard more than a few people ask when Zack might be running for Governor. What an outstanding command of the issues he had. With facts and figures at his fingertips, he made his Republican opponent, Sharon Cooper (R-41), look like a hack politician. Zack has the talent, looks, intelligence, and charisma for a real future in politics in Georgia (and perhaps on the national stage, in a few years.)
