Sharon Cameron -- Crucial School Board Election

In Cobb County, the school board race is crucially important for our children's future, and for all of Cobb's property values.
In East Cobb, Dr. Beth Farokhi, is the "most qualified candidate for the school board" as her opponent, Rev. Dr. Crooks has said. Basically this should be an easy choice.
The deeper problem is that we have a minister running for a school board that has already been captured by religious fundamentalists.
How comfortable should voters be to elect a preacher now? How did all these fundamentalists get on the board in the first place? Did they ever admit that they wanted to put that label in the textbooks until they were in the position to do it?
Who wants to take a chance, even though Reverend Crooks gives an attractive presentation and sounds sincere? We've been made worse than a laughing stock all over the country, and this kind of thing definitely affects property values. We should all be carefully checking out anyone in Cobb County running for a school board seat. Don't let another one sneak on there and let it happen again.
Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice, shame on us!
