As your constituent, I'm writing to ask you to accept any attempt to filibuster President Bush's nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, Judge Samuel Alito.

When the President fulfills his Constitutional duty to nominate a Supreme Court justice, he needs to choose a judge who represents all of the American people not just the fringe right.

Judge Alito has more judicial experience than any other Supreme Court nominee during the past 70 years, yet he has been involved in a number of cases, along with several written comments, that indicate that he would not represent the views of the majority of Americans. It is your duty as my voice in Washington to make sure that any person sitting on the bench will have the best interest of all Americans in his heart. We do not want someone who will push the view of a fringe minority.

Please, accept any attempt to filibuster President Bush's nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, Judge Samuel Alito. This is one of the most important jobs that you have as a Senator — and as your constituent, I'm going to be watching this VERY closely. Thank you.
