This is just a short note of Praise. I want to thank you for all of your hard work and to let you know how much I appreciate what you are doing in Washington. Like you, I have followed the war in Iraq with total disbelief. I read (Amb. Joseph) Wilson's report before it became big news and knew that there was not enough justification to the war before we even sent the first soldier in. I watched the build-up month-after-month thinking, "We can’t be going in there, there isn't enough evidence." The rhetoric grew and grew and the build up snowballed into, "Shock and Awe". I watched the TV in horror for days crying for all the dead and injured that I knew were being left in the wake of all of those bombs. Here in Georgia, people acted like they were at a football game. It made me ashamed.

I have been scanning the news daily, looking for someone to step up and take the lead. I want to thank you for doing just that. Take the lead Senator and get us out of this mess. I have no answer as to what to do with the war now. Should we stay? Should we go? The answer is beyond me and beyond most Americans. At least we can have someone that we can trust to make those decisions for us in the most moral manner possible. Decisions based on the truth, not on how much a company will benefit. Decisions made that will benefit all the American people not just the top 10%.

After reading about the Senate's secret session today, I am pleased to know there is someone in Washington slugging it out for all of us little folk. Keep fighting Senator, we are behind you.
