These next weeks and months are
critical to the Progressive movement. Not since the days of
Watergate has the Republican party been in such disarray. We
must take advantage of the moment.
We must begin by writing our local
media each time the Busheviks and right-wing media start spinning
the scandals coming right around the corner. Tell
advertisers of right-wing spin media we will no longer buy their
products.
Let our State and Federal
representatives know we are as mad as hell and not going to take
it any longer. They were elected to protect our liberties
and to act responsibly. We must demand they no longer act as
rubber stamps for the administration's disastrous actions.
We cannot let them get away with appointing incompetents to the
Supreme Court or to critical agencies of our Federal, State, and
County governments. We must let them know we will not
tolerate corruption, incompetence and cronyism.
We must support progressive
candidates wherever we find them, especially, though, here in Cobb
County. We now have two progressive candidates for State
representative right here in East Cobb - Zachary
Smith, District 41, and arrylowilsonsr@aol.com?Subject=Helping you win HD-45">Darryl
Wilson, District 45. Write to them today and let them
know you will contribute to their campaigns and pound the pavement
to help get them elected.
We must help locate and then
support candidates for the 6th Congressional District to beat Tom
Price and the Cobb School Board Post 6 to beat Kathy
Johnstone. Call the office of Cathy
Cox or Mark Taylor
and let them know you will work for their campaigns to unseat our
incompetent political-hack Governor, Sonny Perdue.
