In response to the many hurricane evacuees now staying in the Atlanta area, MUST is temporarily serving families and individuals with Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi identification.

Most of the calls we are receiving are for food - from local families hosting relatives and local service agencies whose supplies have already been depleted. Our food pantry supplies are normally low this time of the year; thus we need your help.

Please join with your neighbors, co-workers, civic groups, temples and churches to sponsor an immediate food drive. Here are some of the needs:

Proteins

  • Peanut Butter

  • Fresh, frozen, canned meat

  • Tuna and Chili

  • Eggs

  • Dried Beans

Fruits & Vegetables

  • Canned, Fresh or Frozen

  • Juices and Soup

  • Spaghetti Sauce

Grains & Cereals

  • Rice & Pasta

  • Flour & Corn Meal

  • Cereal, Oatmeal, Grits

  • Pancake & Cornbread Mix

Milk & Cheese

  • Powdered, Canned or Fresh Milk

  • Cheddar & Parmesan Cheese

Infant Supplies

  • Baby food and formula

  • Diapers and wipes

Toiletries

  • Family size soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste

  • Razors and toothbrushes

Our donations centers in Canton and Smyrna are open Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and in Marietta Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sundays 1-5pm. We will be closed on Monday, September 5 for Labor Day.

In addition to the above, the greater demands on our programs and services will require more financial assistance – above and beyond our normal expectations and budget for this year. We would be grateful if you would consider an additional financial gift at this time.

Thank you for your continuing support that enables us to help those in need.
