Mike Holzknecht -- A Political Addiction in Cobb County

When I arrived in Cobb County in 1996, I was told that this lovely affluent county was kind of wacky.
Then the County Commission made sure that we had no Olympic events by passing that anti-gay resolution., the new Marietta high school was zoned, planned, and built in a way that should have called for the convening of a grand jury, the county school board made us the laughing stock of the universe with the evolution stickers, and now the laptop computer fiasco.
The majority can’t stop. They see a "R" on the ballot which means, political embarrassment, financial mismanagement, educational decline, and they vote "R" anyway.
This is a political addiction.
My heart goes out to the majority of voters in Cobb County (except Powder Springs, Austell, Mableton, Smyrna, and most of Marietta) who need help.
