Paul Bellman -- Following the Plame Game

I don't know if you are following the whole Valerie Plame /
Karl Rove issue, but I am following it like a freak'n junkie
watches re-runs of CBS' Survivor reality show. If you are not
following this, I understand there are a lot of 'stories' and
'spin' going on. If you want to read up on the latest, FactCheck
has a super-sized timeline of events.
I am writing .. because, as I follow these nuggets of media
deliciousness, I keep hearing how Valerie Plame is a "paper
pusher" or "secretary" or "someone who sits
behind a computer all day" or "someone who set up a gig
for her husband". Well, there was an unofficial hearing held
by the Senate Democratic Policy Council and the Democratic side of
the House Government Reform Committee. At this hearing James
Marcinkowski, a former CIA case officer and former prosecutor,
testified. It is amazing how he explains 'NOC', 'Cover', &
'Secret' in simple terms. Here is a link to a journalist (David
Corn) covering / watching Marcinkowski's
testimony on CSPAN.
